The Southwest Georgia Writing Project

The American Alphabet activity was fun and challenging. I'm thinking creating alphabets related to our unit stories in reading and social studies. I think for seocnd grade, the alphabet will be mostly pictures during the first part of the school year. I'm looking forward to the students creating their own alphabet.
I'm going to have to find a grant to pay for ink for my printer because the 'community printer is always out of ink! I'm really excited about next school year because of activities like th e American Alphabet.

This activity and the many others the team shared, opened up a whole new world for me, digitally speaking.
