Leaving on MANY Jet Planes

The skies are going to be busy flying our Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI)  team members to writing projects across the country.  We are on a mission to gather more information on how the rest of the world does writing project.  Teams have planned to visit as far away as Chico, California, and as close as Auburn, Alabama.  We're always looking for new material, and this round of trips promises to give us that extra spark.

Don't forget that we are having our 1 week format this summer.  Our next meeting is on June 19, the same day that our Youth Writing Project wraps up on campus.  Please plan to attend because we are going to work on a couple of really cool upcoming events.  I'm thinking of having a literacy night here in Columbus in conjunction with our National Technical Honor Society.  Wish us luck as we try this pilot program.  I have been promised local support to keep this ball rolling if it starts going well.

Again, if you would like to play with us, get in contact.  We are fueled by your desires to work in the communities we serve.  You can always contact one of us for more information on ways to work with us beyond your 16 day summer institute.
